Fuel Cells

Along with fuel cells, other technologies are being developed to enable the future fuel cells that are lower in cost, higher in efficiency, and more compact in size. One of the technologies that is helping fuel cell industries take the next step is Calnetix’s unique air management systems. Air management systems are one of the important components of a fuel cell system. This system increases the reaction rate and prevents a possible melt down of the complete system.

Calnetix is currently in development with some of the most promising fuel cell companies for the air management systems. Most of the developments are kept confidential as the fuel cell industry is quickly becoming rather competitive. Calnetix is currently developing air management systems for both automotive and stand alone type of fuel cells. The main components of the air management system consist of high performance motor/generator, power electronics and the aero side. Calnetix has partnered up with Samsung Techwin to develop the aero side of the air management system. Additionally, Calnetix Korea is well positioned to produce high volumes of the air management systems for all fuel cell manufacturers.
