The MPD 50 is a complete system fully functions
as either a motor or a generator. This unit has been utilized
as a prime-mover to drive compressor systems, blower systems,
pumps, and various other applications. For the generation
side, this unit can be coupled to a turbine expander as well
as other types of prime-movers.
The motor/generator is optimized to be low cost and have
high efficiency. The generator is a permanent magnet type
and consists of two subassemblies, stator and rotor. The generator
