Electromechanical Technician II

We are currently seeking an Electromechanical Technician II, who will ensure that products are properly assembled and tested per customer/company drawing specifications and/or work instructions.


  • Assembly and test of motor generator components and assemblies

  • Assembly and test of power electronics components and assemblies

  • Assembly and test of magnetic bearing controller components and assemblies

  • Produce necessary wiring harnesses and electronic components

  • Perform functional tests and troubleshoot as necessary

  • Interface with engineering or manufacturing teams regarding design and build issues

  • Use of tooling for advanced machine assembly

  • Assists in the creation of work instructions and assembly processes

  • Give feedback on design and processing to support continuous improvement

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • 2 years of experience in a production environment or AA technical degree

  • Ability to produce assemblies following routers, work instructions, and blueprints

  • Ability to conduct in-process checks of assemblies

  • Ability to use appropriate equipment to perform in-process tests

  • 5+ years of experience as technician in production environment or equivalent education/experience

  • Experience in assisting with the development and improvement of a production line

  • Ability to conduct basic verification/troubleshooting of own work

  • Soldering Certification
