We are currently seeking a Maintenance Technician who is responsible to perform maintenance and repair on a variety of facilities and production equipment including but not limited to: HVAC, boilers, chillers, air compressors, fans, electrical distribution, cooling towers, cranes, fire suppression systems, conveyor systems, and general test/production equipment

• Assess current condition and develop a plan (including preventative maintenance) for the electrical, air conditioning, plumbing systems, and other essential facilities and equipment
• Ensure the safety of the building and associated structures from fire, flood, and other hazards
• Maintain accurate records of the condition of the equipment and other systems
• Perform plumbing, electrical, structural maintenance of the buildings
• Monitor and adjust control gauges, distribution panels, valves, thermostats, diffusers, and other equipment necessary to provide a comfortable working environment
• Hands on repair of facilities and offices as needed

Competencies: To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following:
• 2+ years in facilities maintenance (plant, large buildings, etc.)
• Hands on experience and understanding technical building facilities and related equipment (HVAC, DI water, electrical switchgear, boilers, fire sprinklers)
• Experience with maintaining machine shop and CNC equipment
• Preferable AA degree or equivalent in a technical mechanical, industrial, or electrical field
• Able to read electrical schematics and construction drawings
• Understand OSHA safety regulations, chemical handling and building code standards

Work Environment / Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Personal protective equipment, such as safety glasses, gloves, or masks may be required in some assembly areas.
