We are seeking a Warehouse Associate I to support our company's warehouse operations, including managing inventory, shipping, and receiving. The candidate will partner with the manufacturing team to ensure timely and accurate delivery of materials in support of production schedules.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Perform material receiving function utilizing ERP system
  • Partner with the inspection department to ensure process flow and prioritization of materials into QA
  • Perform cycle counts on inventory items to ensure ERP system accurately reflects inventory counts and receipts
  • Audit inventory bin assignments; identify errors and correct as necessary
  • Ensure inventory is put away in a timely and accurate manner
  • Pull material per pick lists as provided from production planning
  • Pull material per material transaction requests
  • Package material for shipment, including required marking
  • Ensure documentation supports customer, invoicing, and ERP requirements
  • Ensure area is neat and orderly on a daily basis
  • Transport in-process material to and from suppliers as required
  • Utilize forklift, pallet jacks, and carts to transport material throughout the business
  • Other assigned tasks as needed

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Good communication skills, with a minimum of 2 years of warehouse management experience.
  • Experience working with an ERP system with an emphasis on shipping and receiving, and inventory management.
  • Experience with 5S or Lean Manufacturing is a plus

  • Willingness to learn, quick study, self-starter with a can-do attitude.

Work Environment / Physical Demands:

  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lb. using proper lifting techniques.  
  • Personal protective equipment may be required in some warehouse areas.  Position duties will primarily be indoors with occasional travel to nearby suppliers. 

Salary Range:

$18 - $22 per hour
