We are seeking an experienced and technically skilled Facilities Manager to oversee end-to-end facility management for our manufacturing operation, including machine shop, production lines and specialty testing and process equipment. This role has overall responsibility for capital projects, maintenance, facilities improvements and safety and environmental compliance (EHS) programs.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Manage the day-to-day facilities operations of the manufacturing facility, including machine shop, production lines and specialty testing and process equipment.
  • Establish, maintain, improve and oversee EHS programs.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between internal departments (Engineering, Production, Maintenance, IT) and external vendors for all facilities-related matters.
  • Implement preventative maintenance program and oversee all repairs for production, process and testing equipment.
  • Commission new process equipment, machines and specialty testing apparatus. 

Experience and Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Industrial/Facilities Management or related field or equivalent combination of education/experience.
  • 10 years’ experience as a Facilities Manager within manufacturing environments including extensive involvement in industrial operations.
  • Strong understanding of machine shop operation, specialty equipment, utility requirements and EHS compliance.
  • Experience with vendor management, contract negotiation and technical oversite.
  • Knowledge or hands-on experience with high-power electrical testing, including electrical systems commissioning, load testing, grounding and safety protocols a plus.
  • Certified Facilities Manager Credential a plus.

Work Environment / Physical Demands:

  • Time will be split between office and shop floor.

  • Personal protective equipment, such as safety glasses, gloves, hearing protection or masks may be required in some production areas. 

  • May require evening/weekend availability for emergency or during critical phases of projects.

Salary Range:

$120,000 - $140,000
