We are seeking a Supply Chain Manager to oversee and optimize the end-to-end supply chain for advanced machinery and electromechanical systems. This role ensures the timely procurement of high-quality components, efficient production support, and seamless coordination with engineering, manufacturing, and external suppliers. The ideal candidate combines strategic sourcing expertise with hands-on operational leadership in a high-tech manufacturing environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage all supply chain activities, including sourcing, procurement, planning, scheduling, inventory control and logistics.
  • Develop and execute sourcing strategies for critical components for manufactured products which include motors, magnetic bearings, and power electronics.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with domestic and international suppliers.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and delivery terms to ensure cost efficiency and reliability.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering and production teams to support new product development and manufacturing schedules.
  • Monitor supplier performance and implement continuous improvement initiatives,
  • Identify and mitigate supply chain risks, including disruptions, shortages, and quality issues.
  • Drive inventory optimization to balance cost, availability, and production needs.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory, quality, and company standards.

Education, Skills and Experience:

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field (MBA preferred).
  • 5–10 years of experience in supply chain, procurement, or operations within a manufacturing or engineering-driven company.
  • Knowledge of aerospace, energy, or industrial manufacturing supply chains.
  • Experience with high-precision or electromechanical components preferred.
  • Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems and supply chain analytics tools.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced, technical environment.

Work Environment / Physical Demands:

  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. using proper lifting techniques. Personal protective equipment required in some areas. Position duties will primarily be indoors with occasional travel to suppliers.

Salary Range:

  • $120,000 - $150,000
